COOK – FULL TIME
Mo Chairde offers a day & activity centre and community food services
programme, which services the needs of the older people and adults
with disabilities in Keadue and the surrounding areas of North
Roscommon and Leitrim. It is managed by Roscommon LEADER Partnership
on behalf of Pobal and funded by the Department of Social Protection.
The position of Cook has overall responsibility for ongoing healthy
menu planning and the daily preparation, cooking and serving of
dinners for the Meals on Wheels service and the Active Age Day centre
clients.
The successful candidate must be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative in
their approach and committed to providing a quality service that
responds to the individual needs and priorities of the people we
support
YOU WILL WORK AS PART OF A TEAM AND SHOULD HAVE:
* Experience of working in a food environment is essential
* HACCP Level 1 desirable
* Experience of working with older people is desirable
* Full Clean Driving Licence required
* Applicants must meet the CSP eligibility criteria – see job
description
Compliance with the funder’s requirements regarding eligibility of
individuals to hold a CSP supported post is set out in the job
description which is available for download form
